The Carlo Acutis and Piergiorgio Frassati scholarships of the Jesuit Education Foundation
PALERMO – At the center are deserving young people who, in situations of socio-economic fragility, wish to study according to the vision of the Jesuit educational project. A broad vision that harmoniously combines theoretical study with practical study, also articulated in voluntary commitment in various social realities of the territory.
The 3 scholarships, lasting one year, are "In memory of Carlo and Piergiorgio" for the total coverage of costs related to the attendance fee at the Gonzaga Campus. The scholarships are aimed at deserving young people who intend to enroll, for the school year 2026/2027, in the first year of I and II grade secondary schools and in the first year of the Middle School and High School of the International School Palermo.
In particular, the call provides: 2 scholarships for students who intend to enroll in the first year of the Gonzaga Campus or High School Lyceum; 1 scholarship for young people who intend to enroll in the first year of the Secondary School of I Grade of the Gonzaga Campus or the Middle School.

The call is issued in honor of Saint Carlo Acutis and Saint Piergiorgio Frassati: young former students, recently canonized by Pope Leo, on the occasion of the Jubilee, whose testimony continues to inspire the educational commitment of the Jesuits in the service of new generations. Carlo Acutis, a brilliant student in computer science, attended the Leone XIII Institute and became the first millennial saint of the Catholic Church. Vitangelo Denora is to reach, in particular, those families who, despite having limited economic resources, strongly wish to offer their children an educational proposal that aims to combine academic and human excellence according to the tradition of our Ignatian pedagogy".

The rankings will be prepared by a commission designated by the Jesuit Education Foundation and will be published by January 15, 2026.
