The 2025/2026 season holds a significant novelty for all members of Polisportiva Gonzaga within our educational reality: the introduction of the artistic discipline of dance, a true educational path.
With a constant focus on the integral growth of our students, the Polisportiva
Gonzaga of Palermo has chosen to entrust this new project to the competence and proven experience of Maestra Alessandra Giurintano, a professional of recognized value, who joins our technical and educational staff with enthusiasm and passion.

Alessandra Giurintano was born in Palermo where she began her studies with maestro Roberto Zuccaro (Teatro Massimo of Palermo). At 18, after moving to Rome, she began her career studying at the Renato Greco school with Victor Litvinov and attending daily advanced classes in classical, modern and contemporary dance at the I.A.L.S. (Istituto Addestramento Lavoratori dello Spettacolo - Institute for the Training of Entertainment Workers). Subsequently, after passing the admission exam to the Cosi-Stefanescu Classical Ballet School, she moved to Reggio Emilia, studying with the principal dancers etoile Marinella Stefanescu and Liliana Cosi and participating in the company's productions.
Returning to Palermo, she worked as a dancer in the corps de ballet of the Teatro Cristal in Palermo, participating in all productions. During the same period, she perfected her skills with numerous international teachers including Stefan Banica and Alexandre Stephine. In 1995 she moved to Paris where, in addition to perfecting her skills, she danced and taught in classical and contemporary ballet companies. In September 1999 she returned to Palermo, taking over the direction of her ARTE DANZA dance center. During the 17 years of activity of her dance school, many students have achieved excellent professional goals.
Dance, in addition to representing a sublime and universal art form, is a complete activity that combines harmony, discipline and expressive freedom. It not only strengthens the body by improving endurance, elasticity and posture, but also promotes the development of psychological and emotional balance, contributing to the formation of a harmonious and conscious personality.
Our goal is to offer students not only a solid technical preparation, but also an educational path capable of transmitting profound values, fully in line with the Ignatian principles that have always inspired our mission at Gonzaga.
