The Eduscopio 2025 annual report by the Agnelli Foundation confirms the educational excellence of our Campus.
Which schools in Palermo best prepare students for university and the world of work? This year too, the Eduscopio 2025 report, produced by the Agnelli Foundation, offers a detailed picture of the quality of Italian high schools, assessing how students continue their university or professional careers after graduation.
The Gonzaga Campus ranks first in Palermo for:
· Liceo Scientifico (Scientific Lyceum)
· Liceo STEAM – Scienze Applicate (STEAM Lyceum - Applied Sciences)
Excellent positioning also for our Liceo Classico (Classical Lyceum), which is among the top 5 best lyceums in the city, standing out for the preparation of graduates and their university performance.
What does Eduscopio measure?
The Agnelli Foundation's survey cross-references thousands of data from Italian universities:
average grades obtained by former students in their first year of university;
percentage of exams passed;
regularity of the academic path;
ability of the school path to prepare in a solid and continuous way for university challenges;
for technical and professional addresses, the ability to enter the world of work.
The result is a synthetic index called FGA (Fondazione Giovanni Agnelli), which returns a clear and comparable positioning among all schools.

Gonzaga Campus: the results in detail
Liceo Scientifico (Scientific Lyceum) – 1st place in Palermo
Our Liceo Scientifico (Scientific Lyceum) is confirmed as one of the most solid and reliable paths in the city. According to Eduscopio data:
Gonzaga students obtain higher university credits compared to the average of other schools;
they record higher percentages of exams passed in the first year;
they demonstrate a higher level of scientific and methodological preparation, which facilitates entry into STEM courses and faculties with high selectivity.
Liceo STEAM – Scienze Applicate (STEAM Lyceum - Applied Sciences) – 1st place in Palermo
Our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) address confirms its excellence and the validity of the innovativa.La proposal. Research shows that graduates:
show very high university performance in technical-scientific courses;
are among the most prepared in the transition from theory to practice, thanks to the laboratory structure of the course;
they develop digital, design and critical skills that favor both university and future professional integration.
A result that speaks of the Gonzaga method
These data are not simple numbers: they tell of a daily work made of:
a rigorous teaching, attentive to the person and his talents;
an orientative approach, which helps students to choose consciously;
an integral formation, which unites human, cultural and social dimension;
Commenting on the results, the general manager of the Gonzaga Campus, p. Vitangelo Denora, underlines the importance of this recognition: “It is significant to see a private school at the top of the ranking. Our desire is to contribute to the quality of the educational offer as a service to the younger generations. State and private school together: in this land and in this historical time we must put in place our best energies, all together.”
Denora also adds that the result is the result of a path of innovation and continuous design, inspired by the words of Pope Francis: "The school does not exist to preserve itself, but to respond with courage to the challenges of the present and the future."
The Campus' training projects, he explains, arise precisely from the desire to intercept and face the great challenges that await the world of tomorrow. An educating community that supports and accompanies children on their journey.
An incentive to do even better
The primacy in the Eduscopio rankings is a source of great satisfaction for us, but above all a responsibility: to continue to offer young people an education capable of preparing them not only for university studies, but for life.
